Science Service Sustainability
This ePermitting Super User position will work within the Bureau of Water to ensure the effective utilization of the ePermitting system by providing user support, developing training resources, conducting data analysis, and serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, thereby enhancing data accuracy, streamlining processes, and supporting informed management decisions.Job Responsibilities:
Provide customer support to end users. Assist small businesses with registration and application/report submissions.
Develop training videos and materials for internal and external end users. Attend conferences and conduct presentations on ePermitting as requested. Develop or update SOPs for users as needed.
Develop reports using Power BI or other software and create and update dashboards for program areas. Provide status updates on projects for media, legislative and other inquiries. Advice management of data trends to facilitate accountability measures, decision-making, and strategic planning.
QA/QC data entered in the system regularly to correct errors and improve data quality. Work collaboratively with ePermitting “super users” in other bureaus to promote consistency with data entry, reports, and training.
Serve as Bureau liaison to work with contractors, IT staff, and program staff to develop needed system modifications and improvements.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and professional experience related to the position.
Additional requirements:
Working knowledge of the ePermitting platform and general knowledge of other Agency enterprise applications.
Experience working with staff from across program areas.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to work with the public, industry, contractors, IT staff, and co-workers.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Must have the ability to understand and implement complicated written and oral instructions.
Strong computer skills required.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
