Lead Our IT Team as IT Manager!

We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team. As an IT Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and security of our technical infrastructure. Your extensive experience in IT operations and cybersecurity will be crucial as you collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for leveraging existing technologies and implementing new technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and security. What You’ll Do

Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring reliable end-user support, systems availability, and cybersecurity readiness

Ensure secure deployment, maintenance, and configuration of core platforms such as Vertafore, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and endpoint devices

Translate security and compliance policies into technical enforcement through GPOs, endpoint management, identity management, and configuration baselines

Maintain and monitor critical systems for patching, backups, secure configuration, and incident response readiness

Oversee the organization’s helpdesk to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues

Support user onboarding and offboarding with a focus on secure access provisioning and data handling

Own the lifecycle and technical integrity of the Vertafore suite and ensure close alignment with operational and compliance needs

Coordinate vendor support and escalation for both SaaS and on-premises platforms, including Vertafore and Microsoft

Monitor and report on system health, security posture, and regulatory compliance using internal and vendor tools

Document IT procedures, technical standards, and system configurations to ensure continuity and compliance

Support technology-related internal audits and collaborate with leadership on remediation actions

Maintain accurate inventory of all technology assets and enforce standards for secure and compliant lifecycle management

Promote and oversee relationships between internal IT resources and external vendors and partner organizations

What You Bring

Education and Work Experience:

Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration

Minimum 3 years of experience managing or leading technical teams

Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and telecommunications systems

Extensive experience with endpoint and system hardening, patching, identity and access management

Familiarity with Vertafore platforms or similar industry-specific systems

Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, NYDFS) and security frameworks

License or Certification Requirements:

Requires a current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR

Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to manage and lead technical teams, including planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and resolving problems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential

Cybersecurity Expertise: Extensive experience with endpoint and system hardening, patching, identity and access management, and incident response readiness. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security frameworks is crucial.

Technical Proficiency with Core Platforms: Strong skills in managing the deployment, maintenance, and configuration of core platforms such as Vertafore, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and endpoint devices.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions and handle complex variables.

Comprehensive Benefits:

Salary Range - Starting pay for this exempt position is $95,000 - $120,000 annually. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program.
