Hours: 7 a.m. 7 a.m. (24-hour call).

Practice Setting:

95% inpatient care, 5% outpatient EEG review.

Average inpatient census: 8 patients/day.

Support Staff: 14 physicians, 3 APPs.

Trauma Level: Level II at Mount Carmel East.

Patient Demographic:

Adult: 90%

Pediatric: 10% (age 16+).

EMR System: EPIC. Duties and Responsibilities

Physically see all inpatients across the three hospital sites, including weekends.

Provide remote EEG monitoring (as requested).

Handle trauma-related cases as necessary (e.g., GSW, hypothermia). Requirements

Certifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Epilepsy REQUIRED (no exceptions).

BLS REQUIRED.

Licensure:

Active Ohio medical license REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted).

Other:

COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED.

Clean malpractice history and background REQUIRED.
