THE POSITION

The Program Director will be responsible for managing the success of the developmental office. The Program Director will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. The Program Director will also be responsible for developing and maintaining budgets and operating plans for programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

GENERAL PROGRAM OVERSIGHT

Provide program oversight, including transportation, incident reports, etc.

Maintain department policies and procedures, and develop additional policies as needed

Implement and be department contact for all EMR systems

Oversee contracts with schools or other outside agencies

Ensure the program is in support of the company mission and company strategic plan

Maintain and implement new and current service models in compliance with state regulations

Ensure centers meet compliance with state and federal guidelines

Manage intakes for new participants

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

Provide general performance management of department staff

Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees

Develop, facilitate or participate in meetings, trainings, and team building activities

Ensure departmental compliance regarding required trainings and certifications

Provide direct supervision and training to assigned staff

Monitor department’s recruitment goals and collaborate with recruitment team as needed

Responsible for supporting and collaborating in the development of company-wide employee retention activities

BUDGETING/FINANCE

Develop annual department budget

Manage expenses to client volume and develop ways to meet revenue goals

Monitor department financials and complete follow up as required

Review documentation, invoices, claims reporting, for quality assurance and accuracy

BUSINESS STRATEGY

Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization

Evaluate department performance and implement strategies for improvement

Provide strategic vision an strong leadership to the department

Participate in committees, associations and other external stakeholder gatherings as assigned

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively participate in Senior Management Meetings and distribute required information with teams

Participate in additional meetings/committees, as needed or assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field or equivalent experience (preferred)

Ability to obtain Intervention and Developmental Specialist Certifications (preferred)

Demonstrated knowledge of basic business skills

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

Demonstrate ability to think analytically and utilize problem solving skills

Strong organizational and planning skills

Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communications

Previous supervision experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other software platforms

Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by RISE)

Must provide or obtain MANDT and/or other de-escalation certification training (provided by RISE)

Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance

Must be able to pass a background check
