Temporary Payroll Specialist

Job Description Our client, a leading organization in the payroll processing industry, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Payroll Specialist Location: Iron Mountain, MI (Hybrid: M-Wed in office, Th/Fri Remote) Pay Range: $25-$27/hr What's the Job?Process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees.File federal and state payroll taxes.Upload retirement plan and HSA contributions.Track wage changes per union contract.Manage FMLA time and maintain employee files in the ERP system.

What's Needed?Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.Minimum three years of office experience in Accounting with one year of payroll experience preferred.Experience with payroll processing.Proficient in MS Office Suite.Ability to work with individuals throughout the organization.
