Journeyman Foreman Electrician
Location: Kalispell and Missoula and statewide travel
Position Type: Full-Time (4-Day Work Week)

Were looking for an experienced, hard-working Journeyman Foreman Electrician to lead crews on a variety of commercial and industrial jobs across Montana. If youre a licensed journeyman with leadership experience, who knows how to manage teams, keep projects moving, and still rolls up your sleeves to get the job done, youre exactly who we need.
This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take charge of job sites, mentor apprentices and journeymen, and grow into higher leadership roles in the company. You'll report directly to the Superintendent and play a key role in making sure our projects are done right, safely, and on time.

What Youll Do
Lead and manage crews of electricians and apprentices on commercial and industrial job sites.
Plan, delegate, and oversee daily work activities, ensuring quality and safety at every step.
Mentor and train apprentices and journeymen, passing down knowledge and skills.
Coordinate materials, tools, and job site logistics to keep projects running smoothly.
Work alongside your crew lead by example, in both fieldwork and attitude.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
Maintain clear communication with project managers, superintendents, and clients.
Travel as needed for projects across Montana, with a mix of local and statewide assignments (overnight travel required at times, typically home on weekends).
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and progress reports.
Uphold Star Electrics commitment to safety, teamwork, and growth.
What Were Looking For
Montana Journeyman Electrician License (required).
Previous leadership experience managing crews in the field (foreman or lead role ).
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and make quick, effective decisions on-site.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility for both local projects and statewide travel assignments.
Physically able to lift 50+ pounds, work on ladders, and handle the demands of the trade.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and maintaining a positive crew culture.
Bonus Points ( but Not Required)
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
Familiarity with job costing and crew productivity tracking.
