Job Summary

It’s an exciting time to join the PODS Brand and Marketing Communications team as we elevate our voice and reimagine our content across channels. We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Content Marketing Specialist with proven experience in SEO, blog and content management, creative writing and experience managing creatives teams and/or freelancers.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple stakeholders and complex projects without losing sight of executional details. You’ll work closely with our digital media, brand, and web teams to lead the development and management of blog, email and web communications—delivering work that is not only compelling and on-brand but also aligned with best-in-class SEO practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the ideation and execution of content marketing initiatives that are on strategy and brand.

Own and manage the company’s blog and editorial calendar; ensure weekly content delivery is on-strategy and posted on time, meeting weekly production goals.

Oversee and provide editorial direction to external freelancers and agency partners to produce high-quality content aligned with PODS’ voice.

Responsible for proof reading and copy-editing content written by external freelancers and/or agency partners.

Occasionally required to write external content for blog, email, website and other channels as needed.

Coordinate with SEO and creative agency partners as well as freelance copywriters to develop relevant, compelling content consistent with our brand voice and strategy.

Use consumer insights and other survey data to understand consumer personas; generate variations in content for multiple consumer segments and A/B testing.

Make recommendations on website navigation and user interfaces for a superior user experience.

Review and edit new and existing internal and external communications to ensure they meet brand guidelines and promote a positive customer experience.

May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Regular attendance and punctuality are required. Job Qualifications: Education & Experience Requirements

BA/BS degree or its equivalent required; degree in English, Communications or Marketing is preferred.

2-4 years of experience in content marketing – exceptional writing, editing and project management skills are required.

Ability to effectively manage and deliver feedback to internal and external stakeholders.

Strong working knowledge of Content Marketing and SEO best practices is required.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; strong command of grammar, structure, and storytelling.

Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time.

Ability to manage significant workloads and shifting priorities.

Ability to manage budgets.

Experience with Sitecore is preferred.

Possess wrong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be passionate about creating a positive customer experience.

Possess math skills sufficient enough to perform required duties
