Android Developer

Akkodis is seeking an Android Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, designing, and deploying software applications, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting complex system issues.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Android Developer job responsibilities include:

Designing, programming, testing, implementing, and deploying Android applications.

Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to identify user requirements and recommend technical solutions.

Conducting formal code reviews to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

Applying problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve complex system issues.

Ensuring the accuracy of coding and creating technical documentation.

Utilizing software configuration, version, and quality management processes.

Independently managing tasks with minimal supervision and exercising judgment to achieve results.

Integrating with RESTful services and applying test-driven development throughout the application lifecycle. Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

8-12 years of experience in Android application development.

Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and web technologies with hands-on experience in Android development.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
