Pre-Weigher 3rd Shift

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

Responsible in weighing chemicals to be used for production orders in accordance with laboratory specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Read and understand batch orders to be processed and determine amount of chemicals required for each batch

Understand the process of weighing chemicals, double bag chemicals being weighed in a proper container for tare weight

Responsible in ensuring that all drums, bags or boxes are clean prior to use

Follow all SOP's that apply

Responsible for consistent observance of GMP, SOP and Safety Procedures.

Assist in the maintenance/observance of proper handling and storage of materials needed for production

Ensure that all OSHA, Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, and other governmental statutes are followed and obeyed

Attend all Company training encompassing GMP, SOP, Safety and cross training to expand employee capabilities

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training pre-weighing. Experience in a Cosmetic Manufacturing industry a plus.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.
