The role you’ll contribute\:

B.I. Solutions Developer – Intermediate level with experience in PowerBI and QlikSense. The B.I. Solutions Developer, under the direction of the Director Clinical Operations Analytics and Data Governance, will be mainly responsible for the data analysis and the creation of BI solution reports, visualizations, and other forms of information designed to gain insights, monitor key organizational measures, and provide visibility throughout the organization. The ideal candidate would be able to design, develop, and maintain PowerBI and QlikView applications. The developer will collaborate with B.I. Solutions Analysts and Clinical experts to build analytics for Strategic, operational use, along with predictive analytics. It will also be the developer's primary role is to continually maintain working knowledge of the toolsets used by the Corporate Analytics Team.

Coordinates with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information

Collaborates with application analysts and report/dashboard end users to analyze, provides specifications, and document projects in SharePoint

Creates static reports using QlikView NPrinting tool

Designs and develops the PowerBI and QlikView applications front-end calculations (i.e. set analysis, aggregations, etc.) as per business requirements

Enhances and creates streamlined data models and data integration strategies

Documents and tests work products and conducts data quality checks on a regular basis

Works in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes

Be familiar with diverse data collection, ETL, and database technologies

Analyzes the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new application and enhancements to existing applications; ensures the application fits the needs of users

Provides analytics and business solutions that support business functions securely

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed\:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· PowerBI and QlikView design and developer experience

· MS Excel and/or Access (i.e. VBA) expertise

· Troubleshoots scripting logic when issues arise

· Experience in handling large volume of data

· Working knowledge of clinical processes and terminology

· Self-motivated, independent and goal-oriented, a fast learner with good communication skills.

· Script in SQL/PL SQL SELECT

· Proficiency with query performance tuning

· Experience in development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards (QlikView or any BI report & dashboard tool)

· Familiarity with “big data” and analytics

· Knowledgeable about current government healthcare initiatives

· Cerner experience

· Good knowledge of coding/development standards and best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor's in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics or similar fields

Master's in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics or similar fields
