Position Summary:

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain real-world IT experience in a fast-paced environment. The Entry-Level IT Technician will assist with cable installations, hardware setup, and general IT support under the guidance of experienced technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform low-voltage cabling pulls, terminations, and labeling for network and telecom systems

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user hardware

Rack and stack servers, switches, patch panels, and other data center or wiring closet equipment

Maintain a clean and organized cabling infrastructure in accordance with industry standards

Assist with basic network testing using tools such as cable testers and toners

Document installations and changes accurately in IT systems

Provide hands-on support for hardware upgrades and site moves

Follow all safety procedures and company policies during onsite work

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certifications or coursework a plus)

Basic understanding of IT hardware and networking concepts

Ability to follow instructions and work in physically demanding environments (e.g., lifting, crawling, using ladders)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel between sites is required)

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Familiarity with structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.)

Basic knowledge of Windows or macOS environments

Experience using hand tools and cable management accessories
