Costing Engineer

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

BRC Rubber and Plastics Inc. is recruiting for a Cost Estimator that will prepare cost estimates for Rubber and Plastic product manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFACTIONS:

Estimate the cost of new rubber and plastic products.

Analyzes changes in costing of products.

Provides detailed reports that will include breakdowns of project costs and forecasts of remaining costs.

Documents Manufacturing procedures used in conducting cost analysis.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of cost accounting principles.

Proficient with accounting software (Plex).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Degree in Accounting or Business preferred, but not required.

At least three years of related experience required
