Job Description

We are hiring Top level Pipe Fitter with Brazing capability. That has experience with CuNi to Bronze (2F & 5F), CuNi to Steel Sleeve (2F) and Copper to Copper (2F & 5F).

The Pipe Fitter is responsible for using ratchets, sockets, combination wrenches, nut wrenches, and various other hand tools to install pipe fittings for testing and flushing of pipe systems.

Responsible for using a hand torch for cutting and brazing. Running hoses from flushing equipment to piping systems on the ship. Fix threading of fittings and braze pipe fittings and pipe valves.

SKILL, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Position requires high school diploma or equivalent

Must have 5 years minimum of industrial experience in pipefitting, of which 2 years minimum in shipbuilding

Capability to read installation drawings

Must be able to use various mechanical hand tools

Must be able to use a torch for cutting and brazing

Must be able to pull 1 ” and larger hoses to systems for testing
