The Commercial Construction Estimator procures projects and stays involved in the management of the jobs successfully obtained to ensure profitable completion of the project. We have positions for Commerical Glazing and for Wall Panel Systems.
Responsibilities include:
Perform analysis of potential projects to identify opportunities for bidding and develop, maintain and grow relationships with general contractors and developers.
Perform material and labor takeoff from electronic and paper project documents and identify needs for subcontractors and develop a labor plan to perform the work and calculate requisite costs.
Research building systems, manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors to identify exact needs and pricing of the project requirements.
Compile a comprehensive price proposal and scope of work to present to contractors and developers.
Coordinate and implement a handoff of job to project management team.

Job Requirements include:
Broad knowledge of commercial glazing or panel systems.
Experience in commercial estimating for glazing and / or wall panels.
Extremely strong communication skills.
Basic skills in computer programs and functions.
Familiarity with construction office operations and integration between field, project management, and administrative dynamics.
Ability to work with a variety of people at different levels, communicate effectively, and see tasks and projects through completion.
Approach work with a sense of urgency that demonstrates respect for the employer, the client, and others.Company Description
