FULL DESCRIPTION: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the company's customer base in key markets, focusing on new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, customer relationship management, and executing sales processes to achieve organizational objectives. You will be critical in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving revenue growth.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Industrial and Medical sectors, driving customer acquisition and retention through targeted strategies that align with the unique demands of these industries.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, acting as a strategic advisor to ensure customer needs are met with innovative, high-reliability solutions while complying with industry regulations.
Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to proposal submission, ensuring each stage aligns with company goals and is tailored to the specific needs of customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
Develop and implement new sales areas to improve market reach and revenue growth
The selected candidate will also possess:
Bachelor's degree (BA) in marketing, communication, business, or a related field preferred
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on Industrial and/or Medical industries strongly preferred
Proven track record of success in driving sales and managing customer revenue growth
Experience in development of new business opportunities
Strong understanding of production and inventory control, material and capacity requirements planning, and master planning
Ability to manage customer relationships and lead sales execution with a focus on high-reliability, low- to medium-volume manufacturing
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel (up to 30%) for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities
Salary Range: $150k-$175k/yr
