Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage survey projects including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and topographic surveys.

Review, sign, and seal survey documents in compliance with California regulations.

Oversee field crews and office staff to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

Perform quality control checks on field data, maps, plats, and survey reports.

Utilize the latest survey technology, including GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD software.

Maintain current knowledge of California land surveying laws, standards, and best practices.

Position Requirements:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license but NOT REQUIRED.

Minimum of 5+ years total experience in land surveying, with at least 5 years post-licensure.

Proficiency in modern surveying tools and software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, etc.).

Strong understanding of survey methodologies and standards, especially in boundary, ALTA, construction, and topographic surveys.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time
