Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to support Fortune 500 and 1000 customers, and to excel within a fantastic team. The cb5 identity architect will design, implement, and optimize identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in identity governance, authentication protocols, and security best practices to support enterprise-scale identity solutions.

Responsibilities (All)

§ Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID solutions, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.

§ Develop and maintain identity security frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

§ Architect single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies to enhance security.

§ Lead migration projects from legacy identity systems to Microsoft Entra ID.

§ Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with on-premises and cloud-based applications, including SaaS solutions.

§ Manage identity federation using protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

§ Develop automation scripts for identity lifecycle management and role-based access control (RBAC).

§ Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen identity security posture and detect potential threats.

§ Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on Microsoft Entra ID best practices.

§ Troubleshoot complex identity and access issues across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

§ MUST HAVE DoD Clearance!

§ 8+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM), with a strong focus on Microsoft Entra ID.

§ Deep understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, NTLM).

§ Experience with Microsoft Identity Governance, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access.

§ Hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Identity and Microsoft Sentinel.

§ Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation for identity lifecycle management.

§ Experience integrating Microsoft Entra ID with third-party applications and cloud services.

§ Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles and identity-centric security models.
