Job Description
LICENSED ARCHITECT / INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS
Key Responsibilities:
Test Fit / Feasibility Develop block plans, adjacency diagrams, and high level utilities to validate site/program fit
Quantify building massing, circulation, and code constraints for
go/no-go decisions
Schematic Design (SD) Produce Revit based floor plans, elevations, and 3D views that
integrate process flows, ISO classified zones, and MEP system envelopes
Lead client and stakeholder workshops to refine design intent
Design Development (DD) Coordinate with structural, MEP, and process engineers to lock
scope, material systems, and envelope details
Planning Compliance Navigate zoning, environmental, and building codes (IBC, NFPA,
FM Global, cGMP where applicable) for both newbuild and retrofit sites
Prepare all documentation required for AHJ and EPA/OSHA submissions
Project Leadership Mentor junior staff and manage external consultants
Support business development with scope narratives, schedules, and fee estimates
Qualifications:
U.S. architectural license (active and in good standing)
8 + years designing industrial or advanced manufacturing facilities
Demonstrated experience delivering testfit, SD, DD, and CD packages
Expert level skills in Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
Familiarity with AIA contract documents and project delivery methods (DBB, DB, EPCM)
Working knowledge of IBC, NFPA, ADA, and OSHA standards
Excellent communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
(ISO 48, ISO 14644) is an asset
Semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or battery manufacturing project background ideal
