We are seeking candidates for a Design Engineer role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $55,000-$85,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Design Engineer:

Actively apply and practice fundamental engineering skills furthering the effectiveness and proficiency of the Design Engineering Department

Create detailed models and drawings following proper drafting and dimensioning processes, and meeting design specifications

Engage with R&D technicians and fabricators to create prototypes for concept validation and functional testing

Evaluate Engineering data, under the supervision of Engineering Manager or other senor personnel, to ensure successful progression and completion of assignments

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate and reliable project data

Prepare written reports, professional plans and specifications for product lines or custom applications

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Engineering Bill of Materials for new and existing product linesWhat you need to be a Mechanical Engineer:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

3+ years of design experience in a related discipline with proven, quantifiable results

Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to apply principles to projects

Knowledge of engineering change control, product design, and prototyping processes

Knowledge of Engineering Bill of Materials

Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic GD&T principles

Working knowledge of 3D CAD systems, experience with Solidworks preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vision)
