Melissa G. Langley, MD is an established and successful medical office with a growing aesthetics practice, Melissa Langley, MD Aesthetics. We are seeking a hard working, dedicated and flexible aesthetician to join our growing team.
Duties include, but are not limited to, working the front desk to learn the business and our patients.
Front Desk Responsibilities Include:
Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments and maintaining charts.
Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering inquiries.
Optimizes patients satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Keeps patients appointments on schedule by notifying the provider and nurses of patients arrival.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients questions and maintaining the reception area.
Ensures availability of information by updating, filing and retrieving patient charts.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and insurance information.
Obtain payment from patients at the end of the patients visit.
Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies.
Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Ability to arrive Monday-Thursday to open and close the office, complete end of day financial reporting log and travel to bank to make a deposit weekly.
Ability to collaborate with other team members and work with minimal supervision.
Aesthetician Responsibilities Include:
Educating patients on at-home skincare regimes and recommending medical-grade skincare products.
Promoting non-surgical aesthetic services and products by using personal knowledge and effective selling techniques
Maintaining a clean and tidy treatment room and ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization of supplies and equipment
Reviewing inventory stock weekly with the office manager
Participating in marketing efforts, such as social media content creation and special events
Scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and general administrative and business development activities
Aesthetic Requirements:
Dermaplane
Hydrafacial
Chemical Peels: Image, ZO, Skinceuticals, Obagi, Alpha Ret, Glytone
Microneedling is preferred
Necessary Attributes:
Current Valid Aesthetician License
Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills and procedures.
