About Us:

Eat Cake 4 Breakfast is a local, fast-paced bakery on Cape Cod known for our delicious pastries, great coffee, and warm customer experience. We're passionate about creating sweet moments for our guests, and we're looking for friendly, energetic team members to join us at the counter.

Position Overview:

As a Bakery Counter Associate, you’ll be the face of Eat Cake 4 Breakfast. Your main responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about our menu, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, and handling transactions at the register. You’ll also help manage customer flow during busy hours and assist with daily opening and closing duties to keep our bakery running smoothly. Full-time and part-time positions available (a great summer job!).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service

Take and prepare customer orders accurately

Make coffee and espresso drinks to standard recipes

Answer menu questions and make product recommendations

Ring up orders and handle payments using a POS system

Maintain a clean and organized counter and dining area

Help manage long lines and ensure a smooth customer experience

Perform opening duties (e.g., setting up displays, prepping coffee station, restocking supplies)

Perform closing duties (e.g., cleaning equipment, wiping down counters, taking out trash, restocking for next day)

Who You Are:

Great with people and love helping customers

Calm under pressure and quick on your feet

Comfortable using a POS/register system

Experienced in a customer service or food service role (preferred but not required)

Reliable, punctual, and a team player
