Water Mitigation Technician – Full-Time
Schedule Options:
Weekdays: Monday–Wednesday, every other Thursday
Weekends: Friday–Sunday, every other Thursday
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Emergency Work (24/7): Must be available for rotating on-call shifts, including some holidays

As we continue to grow, we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Water Mitigation Technicians.
Position Overview
As a Water Mitigation Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of restoring homes and properties impacted by water damage. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and Mitigate Water Damage
Evaluate water damage in residential and commercial settings, determine appropriate mitigation steps, and
implement drying strategies.
Operate Equipment
Safely operate water extraction pumps, dehumidifiers, air movers, and other specialized tools to remove
moisture and dry affected areas.
Document and Report
Keep accurate records of damages, equipment usage, and mitigation progress; create detailed reports for clients and insurance companies.
Ensure Safety and Compliance
Follow industry standards and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and the team.
Provide Excellent Customer Service
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, keeping them informed and reassured throughout the
mitigation process.
Assist with Restoration Tasks
Help with cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing properties for repair and reconstruction following mitigation.
Work Independently and as a Team
Manage tasks on your own while also collaborating with fellow technicians and supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
Prior experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in using mitigation tools and equipment
Able to document damage thoroughly and accurately
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Certifications:
IICRC certification (e.g., WRT) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 100+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks in a variety of
environments.
Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Clean Driving Record & Background Check:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Must pass a background check
