Job Description

Summary

The primary focus of this position is the inspection of plastic and metal containers in the production process, and of plastic, metal, and glass containers in the filling process. The Program Manager is responsible for leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineering professionals in completing programs. Programs are typically comprised of multiple projects with complex requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, managing risks and deciding priorities when several projects are executed simultaneously

Lead and facilitate the definition of project scopes, objectives, budget, schedule, and technical requirements to ensure technical and fiscal feasibility

Lead and facilitate project lean processes such as PFMEA, DFMEA, etc.

Plan allocation and ensure resource availability and allocation for effective project execution

Monitor and track project deliverables to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Qualifications

Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams)

Expertise in project and resource planning, monitoring, and reporting

Strong understanding of both Agile and Stage-Gate development methods and managing both methods

Ability to write comprehensive project documentation and reports

Experience leading projects related to product development, sustaining engineering, and/or applications engineering

Process improvement mindset - Lean Six-Sigma training is highly desirable

Education

· B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; M.S. degree preferred

· MBA, MEM, Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar are desirable

· 6 – 10 years of relevant working experience in project management related to multi-disciplinary engineering teams ideally in the fields of industrial automation or mixed hardware/software development.Company Description
