Bestway of Pennsylvania—a building-products manufacturer/distributor located in Cresco, PA—is hiring a CDL-A Truck Driver capable of driving 13 speed manual with flat-bed experience for long haul pick up to southern states, and deliveries back to our Cresco, PA location. This position will give the ideal candidate the opportunity to work directly with brokers to arrange freight loads south, then pick up and return company material. Candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills. This position requires a self-starter. South loads are paid on a percentage basis.

Responsibilities and duties of a Long Haul CDL A Truck Driver:

· Safe operation of company tractor and flatbed

· Delivery throughout the Southern market, or other areas as needed

· Hauling company products back to Cresco, PA

· Routine trips to our Cresco or Cortland, NY office for pick-up of material

· Brokering of southern trips using various load boards or other resources

· Professional, timely delivery of product to customers

· Maintaining truck cleanliness and a positive company image

· Compliance with all Federal and State regulations

· Performance of vehicle safety inspections

· Adherence to ELD rules and regulations

· Staying current on company training

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications of a Regional CDL A Driver

· Candidates must be willing to work overtime, especially during the busy late-spring to early fall seasons, but drivers are generally home every weekend.

· Flat-bed experience is mandatory

· Ability to use a computer/smart phone to broker loads

· Forklift experience preferred.

· Clean Driving Record.

· Candidates must have a valid CDL-A driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment drug test

· ALL levels of experience will be considered—including entry level—but experience is preferred.
