Part Time/ Full Time positions available. Part Time Shift is 3pm-7pm. Candidates applying must have weekend and Holiday availability.

Candidate will work in a restaurant-like setting, in a non-tipping environment, perfect for those seeking steady hours and income. Flexibility is essential in this role, including occasional weekends and holidays. Favorable working hours as no late nights are required.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
Prepare foods assigned by the cook, using daily menus and for special events.
Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
Take orders from the residents and assist them as needed.
Inform residents what foods are available if they are unable to read menu.
Participate in plating and serving meals.
Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction.
Know residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.
Offer second helpings to residents who may desire more food.
Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.
Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.
Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.

Education and Experience Required
Must be age 16 or older
Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
State food-handling and kitchen regulations
Operation of kitchen appliances (dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine, blender, food processor, meat slicer, mixer, etc.) and office equipment (FAX, photocopier, and telephone)
Working 3-3.75 hours standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
Preferred Qualifications
Willingness to learn and help others
Enjoyment in working with older adults
Some experience in food preparation is preferred
