Overview:
As our Banquet Chef, you will take charge of the culinary execution for banquet meals at our Catholic retreat center. From planning menus to final plating, your attention to quality and service will make every event meal special and meaningful for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee food prep, cooking, and presentation for banquet meals.
Develop meal plans suited for groups and dietary needs.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen space.
Ensure meals are served hot, fresh, and on time.
Lead by example in professionalism and mission alignment.
Qualifications:
Culinary experience in banquets or institutional kitchens.
Able to plan and execute large-group meals.
Comfortable with menu creation and event service.
