Your Responsibilities:
* Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to increase efficiency in assembly and high-voltage test processes.
* Develop manufacturing procedures, standard work, and tooling concepts, focusing on repeatability, cost reduction, and throughput.
* Identify and resolve manufacturing and testing bottlenecks, working cross-functionally with design engineering, quality, and production teams.
* Support the integration of new testing methods and manufacturing technologies into full-scale production.
* Monitor key production metrics (OEE, quality, cycle time) and drive corrective actions as needed.
* Support root cause analysis, failure investigations, and continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
* Develop and maintain training materials and work instructions for technicians and operators.
* Drive process standardization across product lines to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
* Provide guidance to junior engineers and participate in process improvement and Kaizen activities.
Your Background
* Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, industrial engineering, or production process optimization.
* Strong understanding of process flow, equipment layout design, work standardization, and manufacturing efficiency.
* Experience working in high-mix, low-volume or engineered-to-order environments is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles; certification preferred.
* Ability to work independently on complex projects and coach less experienced team members.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams (design, test, quality, and production).
* Strong time management and project management abilities to prioritize initiatives and drive results.
* Flexibility to work extended hours when needed to support production and testing deadlines.
