Senior Android Developer

Akkodis is seeking a talented Android Developer for an exciting Contract position with our dynamic client. This role offers a hybrid schedule with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week in our office located in Charlotte, NC.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on your experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize a strong background in Android Development with 5+ years of experience in designing and building applications using Kotlin and/or Java.

Take a leading role in test-driven development (TDD) and ensure exceptional code quality.

Collaborate with the design team to create innovative new application features.

Identify and effectively fix potential application bottlenecks.

Maintain the integrity of core code and handle updates for applications on the App Store.

Employ automated testing frameworks like Appium to write comprehensive automated tests.

Ensure enterprise-grade performance of the application based on specifications.

Utilize code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket proficiently.

Work with features like biometrics, push notifications, and camera APIs.
