Controller

Our client, a real estate developer is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and reporting functions for a commercial real estate portfolio. This role involves oversight of financial reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management. You'll collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reports and support key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily and period-end accounting functions

Manage reporting and financial analysis across multiple assets

Oversee audits, forecasts, and budgeting processes

Collaborate on system improvements and reporting tools

Support special projects and business initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred

10+ years of commercial real estate or related experience

Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills

Proficient in Excel; JD Edwards a plus
