Mission

As a Founding Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our real-time conversational infrastructure to support millions of concurrent calls. Ensuring sub-second response times with 99.99% reliability is paramount. Beyond technical responsibilities, you'll help shape our company's culture and values.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end scalability projects.

Deliver a pre-defined project within the first week (e.g., implementing high-availability Redis).

Independently complete a project within the first month (e.g., developing a new Custom Resource Definition for managing worker pools).

Establish and enhance monitoring systems.

Achieve set monitoring objectives within the first two weeks (e.g., configuring Prometheus rules).

Independently refine monitoring within the first month (e.g., restructuring call monitoring to provide real-time latency alerts).

Enhance infrastructure resilience proactively (e.g., implementing automatic multi-cluster failover mechanisms).

Desired Skills & Experience

Proficiency with Kubernetes, Pulumi, or similar distributed systems.

Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and feedback effectively.

A proactive mindset with a track record of taking initiative.

Adaptability and commitment to thrive in a startup environment.

Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to innovate and execute.

Qualifications

Prior experience in foundational infrastructure or DevOps roles.

At least 2 years of experience in companies with fewer than 100 employees.

A minimum of 10 years in engineering roles.

Over 2 years specializing in infrastructure.
