Your Role: Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced
As a Geotechnical Team Leader in Atlanta, Georgia you will play a pivotal role in overseeing geotechnical projects, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, conducting risk assessments, and fostering strong client relationships. With a focus on leadership, you will manage team resources efficiently, contribute to business development activities, and drive continuous training and development initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Manage professionals to complete geotechnical projects.
Lead in project management, business development, and various operational areas.
Develop proposals and reports or delegate within the group.
Efficiently utilize staff on projects for profitability goals.
Engage in cross-selling services, participate in Business Development, and build local client relationships.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or a related field
4+ years' experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
A Professional Engineer license in Georgia or be able to obtain a Georgia PE by reciprocity
Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff, or the desire to learn
Experience and desire for business development activities
What to Expect:
With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
Walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods (up to 12 hours)
Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment
Safely handling field tools and maneuvering equipment on active construction sites
