JOB SUMMARY
As a Class A CDL Delivery Truck Operator, your role is to transport products safely and efficiently from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery as per company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unload products from the trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions, placing them in designated customer areas as per specifications.
Complete all required paperwork accurately, including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and invoices.
Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining proper temperatures during transport and ensuring cleanliness of the vehicle.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience (completion of driving school may substitute for a diploma).
1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required; food and beverage delivery experience is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License; must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices. Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, and problem-solving are essential. Ability to drive at different times, remain alert, and manage hazardous materials safely.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart. Must be able to perform various physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and twisting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Periods spent in wet, hot, extreme cold, or humid conditions. Overnight schedules may include working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Moderate noise levels are typical.
