What You'll Do
Rotate through the functional areas of our core lines of business (Mills, Fabrication, Recycling, or Emerging Businesses Group such as Construction Services)
Gain knowledge about Steel Making processes through job shadowing and hands on activities
Work in roles at the plant level to learn processes and procedures
Train on and Safely operate mechanical equipment as required
Complete a range of computer work including developing reports, designing presentations, and data entry
Analyze data from various sources to fulfill operational demand requirements
Complete and present a capstone project at conclusion of program
Complete additional duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
Minimum 1 year field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment preferred
Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer/Chrome
Ability to travel as required
Must be able to work flexible hours and be available upon the needs of the business; to include occasional shift work
Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
Constantly perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling
Ability to work within all levels of the organization (shop floor to upper management)
Possess High Integrity and work under the guidelines of CMC's core values
Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication

Bachelor's degree required
