We specialize in industrial and commercial electrical applications providing full-time daily support to active production facilities to minimize equipment downtime as well as 24/7 emergency on-call support as needed. Boyd Electric currently services extensive DoD manufacturing facilities, high-end car dealerships, city municipal facilities, commercial building operators, and general contractors for new construction and tenant finish-out.

Job Description

Active Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas (or reciprocating state)

Active Driver’s License

Experience with service work as well as new construction

OSHA 30 Certification is a plus

Experience with Electrical Control Systems

Ability to establish yourself as a leader and direct junior electricians on the Jobsite

Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics

Ability to work all conduit types (EMT, Rigid, Etc.)

Ability to work with 3 phase systems, contactors, transfer switches, PLCs, ATS, and switch gears

Ability to operate all lifts
