Battleground Research Coordinator
The DSCC is hiring Battleground Research Coordinators for the 2026 election cycle. The Research Coordinators will be a key part of adding experience and capacity to supplement the activities of the DSCC research department. The Research Coordinators will report primarily to the Research Director and senior department staff. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Working to support DSCC research department efforts across Senate battlegrounds and nationally;
Contributing to the planning of DSCC research materials, such as background documents and research memos, including supervising staff in the execution of said research plans as needed;
Spearheading longer-term research projects in partnership with the other members of the senior research team, including identifying and developing opportunities for such projects and managing their execution;
Assisting with the development and refinement of training and organizational materials for campaign research departments as needed Qualifications include but are not limited to:
At least two cycles of campaign or political committee research experience;
Experience managing campaign, political committee, or state party research staff;
Experience reviewing and contributing to survey research products and/or external-facing communications or advertising products;
Experience with project planning and working on multiple projects or races at once.
The ability to work independently and exercise discretion in making significant decisions on DSCC's behalf. This position is designed to provide skills training and experience that may feed into statewide research director, or other research positions, on competitive Senate races, but DSCC can offer no guarantees. All hiring decisions on campaigns are at the discretion of campaign leadership.
The salary for this position is $90,000 annualized.
