RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unload products from the trailer to designated customer storage areas according to specifications.

Complete necessary paperwork according to company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections).

Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the truck and warehouse.

Build strong customer relationships by providing excellent service and clear communication.

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent, along with 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. Completion of a driving school counts as experience.

1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required; experience in food and/or beverage delivery is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe delivery practices.

Skills in driving long distances, communicating with customers, and solving problems.

Ability to operate a tractor-trailer unit in various weather conditions, manage hazardous materials, and perform basic math functions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role requires sitting, lifting, pushing, and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds. You will need to climb in and out of the vehicle and be comfortable with close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position may expose you to wet, hot, cold, and humid conditions. You will work an overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer needs. The noise level is typically moderate.
