What you’ll be doing...

The Principal Engineer-Full Stack will be responsible for developing and maintaining the System Of Engagement (SOE) Services Framework and Micro Frontend Framework design and architecture. This role will also lead and maintain the store applications within the Value IT organization. This role involves developing and implementing new technical solutions, managing program progress, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, good understanding of cutting-edge technologies, experience in leading large-scale applications, and a proven ability to drive results.

Making sure the SOE services are up to security standards by making sure the Dynamic and Static scans have 0 vulnerabilities

Providing necessary support for any changes to SOE framework including but not limited to component version updates etc.,

Champion SOE and VXP integration but designing thoughtful throttling solutions which will have minimal impact on the user experience

Providing technical expertise and solutions for complex projects across multiple distribution channels

Driving Center of Excellence store applications, delivering end-to-end solutions for sales and service flows

Utilizing Conversational UI to build simplified common applications for stores and call centers.

Overseeing store channels for Exclusive Retail Store, Agent Retail, and National Retailers, collaborating with business partners to design and implement partner programs

Building and maintaining new Unified Sales & Service apps using the Northstar Architecture (NSA) tech stack

Leading and delivering programs in a product-based Agile structure, championing Agile methodologies

Maintaining functional/technical requirements, analyze hardware/software features, and understand system architectures

Managing vendor relationships to drive quality, reliability, and timely delivery

Establishing objectives, create roadmaps, and align with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals

Leading emerging technology direction, facilitating decision-making, and driving integration with vendor products

Driving DevOps implementation, including ideation, business case development, design, and delivery

Partnering with Global Delivery teams to create and optimize cross-channel experiences

Delivering results within budget, time, quality, and strategic/tactical KPIs

Documenting and complying with software quality, data security, and compliance processes

Creating proposals and present them effectively to diverse audiences

Analyzing market and industry trends, identifying growth opportunities

Recommending and implementing customer experience process improvements

Resolving customer complaints in a timely manner

Driving actionable insights from customer feedback

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Expertise in Java, J2EE, and React UI

Experience in AWS and databases (ex:, Oracle, Cassandra, and/or NoSQL databases)

Experience with integration of store applications using SSO and Federated Identity Management

Experience in defining a strong and robust authorization architecture for managing microservices across multiple assisted channels

Experience in user content management using AEM

Security experience to provide vulnerability fixes for scans like SONAR, Fortify, 42 Crunch ZAP etc

Experience in designing and maintaining a System Of Engagement Service and Micro Front End frameworks

Even better if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Advanced experience in Software Development

Experience with Behavior Driven Development methodology

Good understanding and experience of working with AEM frameworks for web content management

Experience with Cucumber for Behavior Driven Development

Expertise in Spring Boot

Experience implementing AI solutions for call centers/distribution channels

Experience in eCommerce and catalog management software

Experience delivering large, complex software programs

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills

Solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full-stack implementation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and influencing skills

Results-oriented with a strong customer focus

Experience in Design Thinking and Engineering Transformation (DevOps, Microservices, Cloud)

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $124,000.00 and $231,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
