At Boss Exteriors the Carpenter serves multiple functions. We view our interactions with customers as a means to develop a relationship. The second function of the Carpenter is you will play a key role in the construction and installation of various exterior projects and producing the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. Lastly, high quality work must be done always. These are all cornerstones of Boss Exteriors.

Responsibilities include:

Work as team of carpenters and other skilled laborers in the construction and installation of various exterior projects, such as siding, framing, rot repair, and windows

Produce quality, while being safe on job sites while making sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to company standards.

Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Use construction materials and equipment efficiently and effectively.

Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to keep them informed of project progress.

Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project.

Requirements:

Effective oral and written communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter

Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

Excellent problem solving and time management skills

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work in various weather conditions

Willingness to learn and train others on technical trade details

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
