We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting a smoothly running and efficient Corporate systems infrastructure including hardware, software and data. For new sites this person will also implement new equipment and configurations based on company wide standards and current infrastructure templates.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 / Azure / Exchange / Sharepoint
Support and modify Active Directory / Group Policy
Setup and manage Microsoft Windows Server configuration, administration, and support of internal file servers, application servers, Exchange servers.
Data Center hardware and server configuration, administration, and support
SAN, NAS, Backups using standard industry equipment
VMware ESXi/vSphere
Ensure systems are secure and compliant
Coordinate remote hands & eyes for any remote site issues
Develop and document specifications, researching vendors and solutions for comparison, and estimating initial and recurring costs associated with these solutions.
Work with 3rd party service providers to address outages and service disruptions
Document and maintain the current environment
Works with IT team to create department policies.
Provides level 2-3 systems support. Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology or IT Systems Management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration.
Preferred certifications: Windows, VMware, or related systems.
Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco switch and router OS, VMware, Cisco WAP, HP/Aruba networks, SANs, virtual servers, and VOIP.
Proficient in scripting, MIBs, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Familiarity with server and network management tools, MS Office, and reporting tools.
Must be willing and able to travel approximately 25-50% of the time during projects, depending on project needs and locations. Why Join Sofidel:
