Nightwing is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Engineer (Cyber) with DevSecOps experience to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. We have an immediate need for a Prin. Cyber Security Engineer to act as the Cyber/Information Assurance SME to support the design, development, and deployment of enterprise capability.

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements and developing user stories

Eliminating impediments and actively addressing issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving organizational objectives

Escalating as needed when blocking issues are beyond a team's authority or require support from other teams

Fostering a collaborative team environment through coaching & leading appropriately

Leading efforts to develop new solutions and processes to mature the platform

Working collaboratively with the platform's architect, product teams, IT teams and client solution teams to ensure that identity management, security principles and regulatory requirements are being applied in accordance with our own standards and policies

Working with the Program Architect to improve and optimize security services

Developing applications and processes supporting the multiple functions within IAM

Develop and support tools and integrations supporting our governance and audit functions

Develop solutions which have a balance across ease of use, performance, and security

Gather requirements, document, and assess information for implementing information security policies and standards

Develop and present performance reports and metrics

Develop and meet performance management requirements

Develop and maintain all Accreditation documentation

Facilitate system ATO with the OCIO/AO.

Complete compliance reporting (FISMA, ISVM, OIG)

Facilitate all application Code Review and application deployments with Security &Testing Engineering (ST&E) processes

Coordinate with system ISSM/ISSO and ISSE for system validation of vulnerability and compliance with DHS policy and NIST 800.53 controls.

Provide technical leadership for an engineering team of cloud security specialists. Required Skills:

Must be a U.S. citizen

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

12+ years of directly relevant experience

Must have DHS - CISA Suitability

Expert knowledge of implementing cyber security solutions in a cloud environment

Experience with experience in IAM for: Design, Configuration and Deployment of Active Directory, IAM and InfoSec tools & technology

Experience with implementing Privilege Access Management tools such as CyberArk

Experience with vulnerability management and compliance within DEVSECOPS

Experience with the following tools: Prisma, Checkmarks, CODEDX, Nessus

Experience with AWS IAM and single sign on solutions and protocols.

Experience working with identity governance

Experience working with HSPD-12

Experience implementing role base access across enterprise

Knowledge of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Firewalls)

Excellent written and oral communication skills Desired Skills:

Information Security and IT certifications: Cisco, Red Hat, AWS, etc.

Experience administering cyber security tools such as Firewalls, SIEM, and PCAP

Experience with security log analysis.

Experience working on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT)

Previous experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)

Virtualization technologies, e.g. VMWare, HyperV, etc.

Automation and IaC tooling, e.g. Ansible, Terraform, etc.

Scripting in Python or Perl

"Big Data" Analysis systems, e.g. Splunk, ELK, etc.

Understanding of Project Management and SDLC methodologies. Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering or a related discipline is required. Desired Certifications:

One or more of the following Certifications

CompTIA: CASP

SANS: GCIH, GCWN, GISF, GISP, GSSP, GICSP, GSSP

Carnegie Mellon: SEI

ISC2: CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, SSCP

ISACA: CISM, CISA

Cisco: CCNP Security, CCIE Security

AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect
