Civil experience needed**
Position Responsibilities:
Assembles, analyzes defects, and repairs boilers, pressure vessels, tanks in the field, following blueprints and using hand tools.
Attaches rigging, signals crane operator to lift part to specified position.
Assists in testing assembled vessel / piping.
Ability to take field measurements using tape measure.
Installation/removal of blinds on piping, vessels, and exchangers
Steel/structural fabrication using torches, bandsaw, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.
Identify tools needs for specific tasks.
Ability to perform screw pipe fabrication and installation.
Know all aspects of connecting. Correct procedures for bolt ups, valve installation
Understand different type of valves, direction of flow and why they are used. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience
Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment - exchangers/ towers
Good reading comprehension
Ability to work with others - team player
Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations
Must have experience with equipment maintenance
Must know how to read blueprints, schematic drawings and engineering specifications
Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools
Must have Journeyman Boilermaker tools
Minimum 2-3 years industrial maintenance experience required
Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work as needed - 7 days a week and night shift when needed Minimum Tool list - required
