Lead Electrician

Kenny Strange Electric and Service Company, Inc., is looking to hire an experienced Lead Electrician in Panama City, FL.

Job Description:

Supervise small crew to perform electrical work, running conduit, wire/cable, terminating wire/cable, mounting equipment, trenching, etc.

Responsible for all aspects of daily on-site management of personnel, equipment, sub-contractors, and progress.

Monitors and communicates job progress to Project Manager.

Be able to interpret constructions drawings and coordinate crew to perform all work in accordance with drawings and the contracted scope of work.

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications, drawings, site conditions, and local and national codes.

Recognize and communicate to Project Manager any priority project problems, such as delays, material needs, safety issues or any other delays or project concerns.

Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure that required material is available on the job site as needed for construction.

Work side by side with electricians and helpers.

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Must have valid driver license

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years continuous electrical construction experience
