We partner with DoorDash to deliver convenience store items directly to our customers' doors in Fremont, CA and surrounding areas. We are seeking self-motivated and reliable Delivery Associates who are enthusiastic about serving customers while working in the fast-growing delivery industry.

Job Overview:

As a Delivery Driver for Golden State Delivery, you will be responsible for picking up presorted orders from DashMart and delivering them to customers in Fremont and surrounding areas. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Pickup: Retrieve presorted orders from DashMart, ensuring all items are correctly packed and accounted for.

Delivery Execution: Deliver orders to customers' homes or specified locations promptly and accurately. Adhere to delivery schedules and routes provided.

Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers. Address any questions or concerns they may have and ensure a positive delivery experience.

Route Management: Follow the assigned route and adjust as needed for efficiency. Use navigation tools to optimize delivery routes.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Ensure the vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe condition.

Communication: Keep in regular contact with the dispatch team for updates on delivery status and any issues encountered. Report any problems or discrepancies with orders. Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Technology: Basic familiarity with smartphones and GPS navigation. Ability to use DoorDash app and troubleshoot.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate stairs and handle deliveries in various weather conditions.

Valid Driver's license (required)- CDL not required

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

In compliance with federal law, if hired, you will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Use of personal mobile device is required. Applicant must have or be willing to obtain cell service from ATT, Verizon, or T-Mobile

Use of personal vehicle is required. Normal work day will require 150 commuting miles. Required Skills:

Ability to stand and load packages into the vehicle

Strong time-management skills

Ability to navigate efficiently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to maintain high attendance rate during scheduled shifts
