The Oil Hauler is responsible for hauling asphalt concrete from one destination to another utilizing a tanker and semi-trailer. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to driving, hauling, hook-up, loading and unloading oil, maintaining the tanker and trailer, scheduling service, and logging time and miles.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.

Class A Commercial Driver's License without restrictions and tanker endorsement is required.

A clean driving record is required.

A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.

Must be at least 23-years of age.

Prior over the road driving experience is required.

Experience keeping driving logs are preferred.

Experience in oil hauling is beneficial.

The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and adhere to subjected to random tests for the duration of employment is required.

Drivers must have hazmat endorsement.

A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the tanker and semi-trailer to make deliveries timely.

Load and unload the tank at designated destinations.

Check the truck and tanker frequently to ensure that mechanical, safety, and equipment is in good working order.

Maintain logs of working and driving hours.

Record vehicle service and repair activities.

Ensure that the oil is secure for transport.

Adhere to the supplier and vendor loading and unloading regulations.

Fuel the semi/ trailer truck as needed.

Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment and daily maintenance as necessary.

Provide a high level of customer service to suppliers and vendors.

Follow appropriate company safety procedures for transporting.

Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
