The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence, team development, and on-time delivery performance.nResponsibilitiesnnOversee daily production operations for machining and mechanical assembly, ensuring efficient workflow and resource utilizationnDevelop and implement strategic production plans aligned with organizational KPI's and customer commitmentsnLead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, including supervisors, technicians, and assembly specialistsnOptimize production scheduling to meet delivery targets while maintaining quality standardsnDrive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles and best practicesnCoordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production flownManage operational budgets and control manufacturing expensesnImplement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance standardsnMonitor equipment effectiveness and implement maintenance strategiesnCreate and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track operational successnnSpecialized in Machining & Mechanical AssemblynnnQualificationsnnBachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related fieldn7+ years of progressive experience in aerospace manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership rolenDemonstrated expertise in precision machining operations and mechanical assembly processesnStrong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards and regulations (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.)nExperience implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing principlesnProven track record of team development and performance managementnExcellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilitynStrong communication and interpersonal skillsnExperience with managing ERP/MRP systems and production management softwarennPreferred QualificationsnnMaster's degree in Engineering or Business AdministrationnCertification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or similarnExperience with automation integration in manufacturing environmentsnBackground in new product introduction and manufacturing process developmentnKnowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital manufacturing technologiesn
