Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented, motivated Project Manager to support our Information Technology team in Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem area. The Project Manager will play a critical role in leading technical integration projects, focusing on the coordination and execution of systems integrations. The role will involve working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations, overseeing project planning, scheduling, and execution. The candidate will utilize tools like Smartsheet and Jira for tracking, reporting, and project management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integration Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of system integrations, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational goals.
Project Management Methodologies: Use Agile (Scrum) or Traditional (Waterfall) methodologies, depending on the project requirements, to manage timelines, resources, and scope.
Smartsheet and Jira Management: Use Smartsheet for project tracking, resource allocation, and reporting. Utilize Jira for issue tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and progress reporting.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with IT developers, business analysts, and external vendors to ensure that project deliverables meet all technical requirements.
Post Go-Live Ownership: Support operational team post-deployment, ensuring smooth handoff, issue tracking, and stabilization of integrations.
Communication and Reporting: Ensure timely communication of project status, risks, and issues across all levels of the organization.
Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify risks and lead the team in solving issues that arise during integrations. Use Jira to manage risk mitigation and issue resolution workflows effectively.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective relationships with internal business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all technical requirements are met.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, particularly in technical integration projects. Previous experience in managing IT-related projects is a plus.
Project Management Tools: Proficiency in Smartsheet for resource management, project tracking, and reporting. Expertise in Jira for issue tracking, sprint management, and progress reporting.
Methodology Knowledge: Proficient in Agile (Scrum) and Traditional (Waterfall) project management methodologies, with the ability to apply the most appropriate approach depending on the project.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving technical and operational challenges.
Adaptability: Ability to react promptly and efficiently to project adjustments, changes in scope, and shifting priorities.
Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools related to project management software.
Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership ability with a collaborative mindset and the capacity to motivate and drive teams to achieve project success.
Certifications (Preferred but not required): PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Logistics & 3PL Experience: Familiarity with logistics processes and third-party logistics (3PL) systems is a plus, particularly in areas like warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
WMS Integration: Experience in the integration and technical aspects of warehouse management systems (WMS) and 3PL platforms into enterprise applications is preferred.
Technical Integration Knowledge: Exposure to integration methodologies for logistics and supply chain software solutions, including experience with 3PL vendors and their technical requirements.
