Our Client is an ambitious solar installer for C&I and Utility Solar projects. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to come in and oversee a team of Project Managers under the direction of the Director of Project Management.
The ideal candidate will oversee the Project Managers that are leading each construction site whilst also supervising the Installation workforce to meet all schedule requirements, oversee and maintain a safe and clean work environment throughout the installation process and oversee and provide leadership for the Installation personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example in all areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
Enforce company rules and regulations, taking disciplinary action when necessary and reporting all to the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources.
Instruct and assist employees to install in a safe and productive manner while adhering to quality requirements.
Coordinate all subcontractors, LV electrical, MV electrical, Surveyor, concrete, temporary labor, civil inspectors and Miss Dig.
Assist Vice President of Operations in scheduling the work force and installation projects.
Assist Vice President of Operations and HR in hiring employees as required to meet the needs of the installation schedule.
Ensure that customer and internal quality standards are achieved on new jobs and maintain properly documented evidence.
Key contact person for any issues with customers or suppliers while on a jobsite.
Schedule and perform routine maintenance requirements on company owned equipment.
Excellent leadership, analytic, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle and organize multi-task assignments with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Must be able to obtain a valid and appropriate driver's license (CDL) to maintain employment.
Ability to work in a team environment.

What you would bring to the table
Valid State Driver's License. Ability to obtain CDL certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Master’s degree preferred.
10 Years construction, installation and systems experience. Experience dealing with utility scale projects of 5MW or higher
NABCEP Certified Installation Professional
MIOSHA 30 Certification
