Electro-Mechanical Hardware and quality control Manager NAM, Part of the Product Management team for NAM.

Some travel for quality checks and special training.

Job requirements:

Good working knowledge of mechanical, lock, cylinders, Panic hardware, strikes. electro-mechanical hardware background and knowledge is required, electrified strikes, mag locks, electrified locks, panic hardware, latches and other. Background in electronic lock industry, Auto CAD or other programs for creating technical drawings for Electrical and mechanical products, knowledge of Microsoft sap and AX is recommended. Need to be able to learn and understand Web-API (JASON) and many different software systems, so computer skills and knowledge required. We have some Linux hardware, raspberry pi, etc. knowledge of different software platforms is recommended.

The primary objectives of this position are:

Manage and train internal and external staff and vendors on our hardware.

Sales focused hardware training.

Vendor focused hardware training

Quality control of hardware, help with quality issues and raise issues to PMT team.

Hardware issues will be escalated to this position as part of the PMT team.

Quality control of outside contractors and vendors on installation and hardware support.

Manage and create when needed programs to upgrade hardware for competitions locks, creating custom hardware options that are needed for each and easy forms for getting parts needed for sales, i.e strikes and cover plates for each.

Part numbers and pricing in system for each grouping of parts

Cad Drawings

Creating forms for sales on what parts are needed to upgrade hardware.

Adapt new hardware that interfaces to most panic hardware and get all necessary support documents and hardware parts into the system. i.e. (Flex might be a good alternative)

Work with PMT on creating templates

Part numbers and pricing

Training of inside staff and outside vendors and contractors.

Cad Drawings

Working on other hardware that is requested for new installations that includes documentation, CAD Drawings and training when needed.
