About the Role: SMEG USA is looking for an Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager to manage its owned/D2C business and digital marketing initiatives. We are seeking an energetic, experienced individual to manage and optimize our D2C online sales, support outstanding customer experience, and execute digital marketing initiatives that align with the company’s business strategy. This role requires a data-driven mindset and a deep understanding of e-commerce and digital best practices. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Website and Ecommerce
Ongoing management of SMEG’s D2C Shopify website, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly, and on-brand experience.
Develop systems, create standards, and implement best practices for new product listings, content creation, maintenance, and distribution.
Oversee all e-commerce operations including product merchandising, promotions, pricing strategies, order processing, and customer service alignment.
Analyze web performance metrics, sales data, and customer behavior to drive actionable insights and achieve revenue targets.
Manage Shopify integrations, including connections to SAP, Avalara, and other third-party platforms.
Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, including shipping policy enforcement, tracking communication, and resolution of customer issues.
Identify and execute growth opportunities, from new product launches to UX improvements and strategic collaborations.
Manage owned/DTC business testing and learning agenda including CRM segmentation build out.
Maintain SMEG USA’s brand website, collaborating with international teams on updates.
Partner with Customer Service, Logistics, and international teams to optimize the customer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to share ideas and best practices.
Leverage competitive trends to inform tests and new strategies.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining strong attention to details.
Digital Marketing
Ensure a cohesive digital strategy that integrates paid advertising, content marketing, SEO strategies, social commerce initiatives, and organic social growth.
Assist the marketing team on the growth of SMEG USA’s social media presence.
Partner with the Content Marketing Manager to maintain brand guidelines and tone of voice in all digital touchpoints.
Qualifications:
5+ years of related ecommerce and digital, preferably with a focus on DTC Ecommerce brands.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals.
Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space, including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
Proven experience managing online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Display Ads) and email marketing platforms.
Proficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, Klavyio, Gorgias, Meta business suite (paid and organic).
Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Analytical and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Light graphic design or image editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) preferred.
Experience in the housewares industry a plus.
Previous work with Internationally based headquarters.
Required Travel:
Light travel required, less than 10%
Must be able to commute to Kearny, NJ office 3x a week
