Smith Construction, Inc. is a General Contracting/ Consulting firm specializing in large commercial projects in the Southeast. Their primary markets include industrial/manufacturing, environmental, academia, healthcare, historic preservation, religious, retail/mixed use, and energy/utility projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Project Manager role located in Kingston, GA at Smith Construction, Inc. The Project Manager oversees all commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This role will require in-office estimating. The candidate will see each project through the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. On some projects, travel is required throughout the Southeast region. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

10 Years Commercial Construction Project Management experience REQUIRED

Expeditor and Expediting skills

Ability to critically review projects per plans

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with property owners, clients, team and superiors

Additional experience in commercial construction or related field is a plus (certifications in OSHA, Hazwoper, blue card, etc.)
